Monday: The Worst Day of the Week

So Sleepy and Tired
Got to work with very heavy legs today... Did anyone chained me with weights last night? Hmm... I checked my legs... No, I can't see any weights chained to my legs. Why did my legs feel so heavy? Hmm... Think the bone mass on my legs had increase very dramatically while I was sleeping... Maybe that's why it feels so heavy... Haha...

Anyway, I just did not have that mood to work. When I saw my temp staff colleagues early in the morning, I forced out a smile to them... Well, it's very difficult to smile on Monday mornings, don't you agree with me?

Haiz... Anyway, the WebEA (the thing that I need to key in the applications) was down until mid-afternoon. I was really scared that it is not even ready till the end of my work day. Once WebEA is down, this would means that I would have nothing to do. This also means that I need to work doubly hard the next day... This is just how important WebEA is for my work. AS400 is also quite important, when it's down, I'll have nothing much to do in the morning. Haiz... The WebEA and AS400 seemed to give quite a lot of problems, so it affects our work a lot... Think Maybank shouldn't save money about maintain the system...

Movie: XMen
Well, watch XMen movies with Chun Hoo, Tze Guan, Wei Qiang, Kai Quan, Chit Chin and Hong Joo. The 5 of them, Chun Hoo, Tze Guan, Wei Qiang, Kai Quan and Chit Chin arrived earlier and had their dinner somewhere nearby. Well, I ended my workday quite late, so I only managed to arrive just on time for the movie. At first, Hong Joo want to leave him out for the movie, as he was going to be late, but Chun Hoo managed to pursuade him to come. Well, in the end, he managed to come, and just missed only about 5 minutes of the show. That's better than not watching at all, right?

Went back straight home right after the movie. Thought of sleeping straight away, but I still have to type out the blog, and also use MSN for a while.

Tape Recording for Lectures?
Well, as I was talking to Haohan about that, I remembered what my JC maths tutor, Ms Ng, told us last time. Well, when she was still in NIE last time, she had a friend, who was afraid to miss out anything the lecturer said. So, of course, she will always be present for the lectures as long as there's nothing important that she need to tend on.

One day, her friend was going to miss the lecture, as something important cropped up. As she was really scared of missing out anything the lecture, she decided to ask Ms Ng and her friends to helped out to catch up with the lectures when she's back. Well, at frist, Ms Ng told her that she could borrow their notes that they had taken down during the lecture, but her friend said that she wanted them to help her record down what the lecturer said during the lecture. She insisted on that as well, so Ms Ng and her friends decided to agree with that.

Her friend told her that they must record everything what the lecturer had said during the lecture. Well, Ms Ng told her that it's ok to miss out those things that was not important for the lecture, like the jokes, stories, lame things the lecturer had said. Anyway, the tape only can record up to a certain about of time right? So, this is to save the space on the tape. Well her friend said she MUST still record everything down, from the very start of the lecture to the very end of the lecture. That means if the lecture start at 8am, she must press the record button before 8am, even if the lecturer had not arrived the lecture theatre yet. When the lecturer went out for a while to have a short break, she cannot press the stop button until the end of everything. Footsteps made by the lecturer that just came in must be recorded. Coughing and sneezing MUST still be recorded inside as well. Huh? Is there anything to learn about coughing and sneezing? She also said that if the tape run out of space, she must quickly change to a new one and record.

Her friend also to them to sit on the very first row, so that they could follow the lecturer with the tape recorder. That means if the lecturer walk to the left, she must follow the lecturer to the left, if the lecturer walk to the right, she must move right. If the lecturer walk to the back of the lecture theatre, she must stand up and follow where the lecturer walk to with the tape recorder. By the way, she want them to use more than one tape recorders as well, so as to play safe. So, in other words, Ms Ng and her friends were just like the news reporters inside the lecture.

So, throughout the lectures, they had to keep moving about, following the lecturer because the lecturer likes to move about here and there. The students inside the lecture theatre were looking a them, wondering if they were making a news report about the lecturer. Also, the lecturer came late, so they had to record that down as well, which is just noise made by the students. The lecturer also teach nothing much on that lecture as well, so he was just telling all the jokes and stories throughout. Haha...

After that incident, Ms Ng and her friends tried to stay away from that person, especially if she was going to miss her lecture again. She said she didn't want to do that again... Haha...
